1. Acceptance of Terms
By booking travel services with us, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.
For European Customers: These terms comply with EU Package Travel Directive (2015/2302) and applicable consumer protection laws in Germany, Sweden, Denmark, and Norway.
2. Definitions
For the purposes of this agreement:
- TRAVEL AGENCY: Follow Me
- CUSTOMER: The individual contracting our services
- SUPPLIERS: Airlines, resorts, transfer companies, and other service providers contracted through our intermediation
- INITIAL PROPOSAL: Preliminary itinerary and pricing sent via email or WhatsApp
- FINAL CONFIRMATION: Definitive booking confirmation with all service details
3. Our Services and Role as Intermediary
3.1 Travel Arrangement Services
We provide the following services as an intermediary:
- Maldives Resort Packages: Accommodation bookings at selected resorts
- International Flight Arrangements: Ticket booking through our authorized consolidator partners (Amadeus system)
- Airport Transfers: Speedboat and seaplane transfers in the Maldives
- Travel Documentation Assistance: Visa guidance and requirement information
- Customer Support: Pre-travel, during-travel, and post-travel assistance
- Travel Protection: Mandatory travel insolvency insurance for European customers
3.2 Intermediary Status
We act exclusively as an intermediary between customers and service suppliers. We do not operate flights, hotels, or transport services directly. Each service is subject to the terms and conditions of the respective supplier.
3.3 Supplier Responsibility
Airlines, resorts, transfer companies, and other suppliers are directly responsible for their services according to applicable laws. We facilitate the contracting of these services but do not assume liability for supplier performance beyond our legal obligations as an intermediary.
4. Booking Process
4.1 Initial Consultation
- Contact: Customer contacts us via WhatsApp for personalized consultation
- Initial Proposal: We prepare detailed itinerary and pricing (Annex I)
- Review Period: Customer reviews proposal and clarifies any questions
- Approval: Customer confirms acceptance via email or WhatsApp ("OK")
4.2 Reservation Process
- Travel Protection: Travel insolvency protection certificate issued before payment
- Payment: Customer completes payment via secure Stripe payment link
- Supplier Reservations: We secure reservations with all suppliers
- Final Confirmation: We send definitive booking confirmation (Annex II)
4.3 Booking Confirmation
Your booking is confirmed only when:
- We have received full payment
- Travel insolvency protection certificate has been issued
- All service suppliers have confirmed availability
- You have received written booking confirmation from us
5. Payment Terms
All payments must be made according to the following schedule:
Payment Schedule:
- 20% deposit: within 24 hours of booking confirmation
- 80% balance: up to 30 days before departure
Failure to make payments according to this schedule may result in automatic cancellation of your booking and forfeiture of any payments already made.
6. Cancellation Policy
6.1 Customer-Initiated Cancellations
All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing (e-mail or letter) to Follow Me at info@followmemaldives.com.
Cancellation Policy:
- Up to 30 days before the start date: 80% refund of the total amount
- Between 30 days and the start date: 0% refund of the total amount
Travel-insurance coverage may reimburse losses for covered reasons; consult your policy.

Customer Acknowledgment
By booking with us, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. You acknowledge receipt of all required pre-contractual information and your right to withdraw from distance contracts where applicable under consumer protection law.
